The Story of Curry Mouth

Growing up in Trinidad, I was immersed in a vibrant culture filled with the rhythm of steelpan music, colorful streets, and the unforgettable aroma of home-cooked meals. Food was always at the heart of every gathering—bringing family, friends, and community together.

From lively celebrations to simple family dinners, bold flavors were a constant part of life. Curry simmering on the stove, freshly made roti, savory doubles, and sweet tropical fruits weren’t just meals—they were expressions of love, heritage, and tradition. Each dish told a story, passed down through generations, creating memories that lingered long after the last bite.
